yeah, haven't updated my journal in awhile, and figured i was long overdue to do so.

i'm very excited for Thanksgiving break; i've been in desperate need for a vacation and have more to be thankful for now than ever before.

funny how you can forget how much you love certain people until you're away from 'em for awhile. My family and i still all live together and talk regularly, but sometimes i get so bogged down with school and work that there just isn't any time to relax...and i'm hoping that tomorrow will bring us that opportunity.

a lot's been going on here on my end, most of it is irrelevant to this journal. if anything i'm just here to say "hey, wat up dawgs?" and so such. XD

i haven's submitted much in a couple weeks, but, knowing me, i'll never stop scribbling. Now i've officially added writing to my repertoire; i'm working on writing a number of short stories and am -still- trying to get this one particular work published...geez editing can be such a pain! LOL

but anyway, more on all of that another time. =] just thought i'd mention also that with school and work and everything i've been kinda negligent (still) of checking SA and DA (dear Lord especially DA!), but i'm not completely inactive, just...incredibly slow. so please bear with me as i sift through comments.

and lastly, i leave you with a parting gift: a short story i have written and posted to Writing.com. Inspired by the Thanksgiving holiday, I thought you guys might enjoy it (particularly since it isn't posted here)

Hope you all have a happy Thanksgiving and don't get fat. (or killed on Black Friday, which i am so privledged to have been called in to work...not to mention on saturday too >>;; )
